Terms of Service

1. Scope of Application

These Terms of Service govern the legal framework for the use of the mobile application “Judged” (hereinafter “App”) and all related services, features, and content provided by Judgr Technologies UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (hereinafter “Provider”).
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Registration and User Accounts

Some features of the App require the creation of a user account.

• Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• Users must be at least 16 years old (or the applicable minimum age in accordance with GDPR in your country).
• User accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. User Conduct & Community Guidelines

Judged is built around respectful interaction and a fair evaluation model.

• Users are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times.
• Specific rules regarding acceptable and prohibited content and conduct can be found in our separate Community Guidelines.
• Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.

4. Content & Usage Rights

Users may only upload content for which they own the necessary rights.

By uploading content to the App, the user grants the Provider a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and technically process such content within the App.

Uploaded content may be visible to and commented on by other users as part of the platform’s rating functionality.

5. Premium Subscription

The App can be used free of charge or with a paid Premium subscription.

• Premium features are clearly marked in the App (e.g. ad-free usage, exclusive content, enhanced interaction options).
• Pricing, duration, and cancellation terms are governed by the respective App Store / Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions can be managed or canceled through the respective store settings.

6. Availability & Modifications

The Provider reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue parts of the App or specific features at any time without prior notice.

There is no entitlement to uninterrupted access, permanent availability, or specific content.

7. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance

All personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German data protection laws (BDSG).

8. Disclaimer of Liability

The Provider assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of user-generated content.

Liability is excluded unless due to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or violation of essential legal obligations.

9. Changes to Terms of Service

The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Users will be informed in advance about significant changes. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

The place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is the registered office of the Provider.
