6. Firebase and Other Service Providers

We use Firebase by Google as our backend service provider, including:

  • Firebase Authentication (login/registration)
  • Firebase Firestore (database for user content and messages)
  • Firebase Analytics (usage statistics)
  • Firebase Crashlytics (crash/error tracking)

These services are provided by:
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Data may be stored and processed within the EU or transferred to third countries under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses by Google).

7. Third Party Login

We offer login via Google and Apple ID. When using these options, we receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) to create your account.

8. Data Retention

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated above, or as required by legal retention obligations. If you delete your account, your data will be deleted unless further retention is legally required.

9. Your Rights under the GDPR

As a user, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): Request a summary of personal data stored about you.
  • Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): Request deletion of your personal data. Deleting your account is required for full erasure.
  • Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR): Request temporary limitation of data processing.

  • Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR): Object to data processing based on legitimate interest.
